The reason for unrest in the Middle East

In some cultures in the Middle East showing the soles of ones feet is an insult

    • Thus people don't want to show the bottom of their feet
    • Thus the society is built so that this doesn't happen accidentally
    • Thus there are no recliners in the Middle East
    • Thus there are no La-E-Boy recliners available
    • Thus the maximum relaxation level is inherently capped at a low level
    • Thus the frustration levels are higher relative to the rest of the world
    • Thus there is unrest

    See any holes?

Wesley, this is just bullet proof. I say we organize a La-Z-Boy drive. What say you?

Kat I like your thinking, but I feel that it might be too bold. The repercussions could be huge and dangerous without proper planning. I would endorse the mobilization of pedicure outreach as a precursor. Then, and only then, could La-Z-Boy adoption be possible.

The pedicure option appears to be playing it too safe; however, I believe it's a necessary first step. First, people must be comfortable with their own feet, only then they will be able to properly maximize La-Z-Boy usage.

You're both right, Operation La-Z-Boy is a little too forward thinking. Perhaps we can entice them to be cooperative with pedicure outreach by hinting at Operation La-z-boy as a reward. We can enlist the help of the entertainment industry to push pedicures and bare soles as the new trend. Maybe use the sand angle as a great way to exfoliate and keep the soles supple.
