    Weird Circle Bug in Google+

    I don't know why the totals on these two pages don't agree, but they are wildly different.

    That just means that there are people who have a notification about you, but have not yet added you to any of their circles.

    Heads up - it's not a bug - I posted about this yesterday here:

    Confirmed: There is a difference between the "number of circles you've been added to" and the number of circles you are in (displayed on your profile). This is not a bug.

    If someone has circled you privately, this won't display on your public profile count. See screenshot. +Lana Berry is IN my friends circle, but because my friends circle is private, it's not included on her profile count.

    I would think the same thing?

    If I have my profile privacy settings restricted, then when you add me to a circle, you can see that on your dashboard, but I won't be included in the display on your public profile.

    Hmm... not sure on the 2nd one as I have yet to be able to replicate it. Testing continues :)

    In my case, it appears that more people have me "in their circles" (648) than have "added me" (643).
